Wasted over a year as we begged for communication and getting almost zero real information. A year later they say they're not interested in the case and what their client went through that was so horrific the CEO of the hospital sent a very specific apology certified letter for the poor quality of care she received leading to a-lot of damage and my mother being left blind in one eye, not able to drive or work at all. The surgeon in this case even admitted to hitting her artery in surgery causing a stroke that he admitted to after she was brought back and suffered a seizure due to being sent home directly from the ICU less then 24 hours after a major procedure without seeing a step down unit as we begged them not to send her home. This is 10% of it and these guys still called seemingly siding with the hospital and sounding like they were defending the hospital and not my mother.
This Attorney has negotiated a subpar deal with the BSA and Hartford Insurance Company. On October 14th 2021 this Attorney sent out a mass update video for voting on the BSA plan for Chapter 11 via text message YouTube link and in the video he uses the language “you must vote yes!”. Then proceeds to use scare tactics “ if you vote No, this case will go on for years!”. This attorney’s demeanor is all wrong, he has not allowed the TCC torts committee a group of nine survivors to participate in his subpar negotiations. The fact that the TCC is being shut out of this process is MONSTROUS! The TCC are survivors who are court appointed to discuss and protect the rights of Survivors! Of me! They understand the trauma and life long pain better than those who have not suffered the same horror. I was forced as a child I will not be forced by this man. He claims he is my attorney as part of the Coalition of attorneys then “stop lying to the survivors!”.
