Retained Mr. Dolfman to represent in a criminal matter and he requested that $1,500 be wired to him at his bank and stated that amount would cover EVERYTHING. Unbeknownst to me, the information that he provided for the wire transfer was in fact his own personal bank account with BB&T. Following an investigation, it was determined that Mr. Dolfman had engaged in misconduct, including, using a PERSONAL bank account to DEPOSIT and COMMINGLE CLIENT FUNDS, in violation of the Rules of Professional Conduct. As a result, further action was taken against him by the Disciplinary Board and he was ORDERED to return the $1,500. Bottom line here is: Mr. Dolfman is a FRAUDSTER - he's DISHONEST, and a CON-ARTIST. As of today he does not maintain professional liability insurance and what that means to you is that if he screws up your case you will not get a dime from him to be compensated.
