Hired Attorney

In September of 2005, I had filed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy with Mr. Offen. My uncle paid him $1000. Before selecting him, I was looking at other attorneys as well; especially the ones that were pro bono because I'm a low-income person. I wanted to file this bankruptcy before the new bankruptcy law took effect. I had the bankruptcy hearing two months later, and I didn't get the final decision until February of 2006. He advertised his services on KYW Newsradio here in Philadelphia.
