Provide ongoing advice to a medical records company in connection with HIPAA compliance as well as compliance with state specific regulations governing the prices that the company is permitted to charge for copies of medical records.

Counseled an executive from a Fortune 100 medical device company in an investigation arising from a qui tam action brought against the company. Represented the executive in all aspects of the investigation, including several interviews with the United States Attorney. Waste Management Litigation: Successfully obtained a preliminary injunction ordering a container terminal to honor its agreement to allow our waste-management company client the right of first refusal before offering barge space at the terminal to another party.
