About Ananya Hemanth Kulkarni

Ananya Kulkarni’s professional journey began at the University of Pittsburgh, where she developed a versatile academic foundation by majoring in Communication Rhetoric and minoring in both Spanish and Philosophy. Her passion for advocacy led her to the Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she earned a Certificate in Trial Advocacy. During her time in law school, Ananya distinguished herself as a rising star in the courtroom, earning prestigious honors including the Jerome M. Staller Trial Award and the Stern Trial Advocacy Scholarship. Her talent for litigation was further recognized through multiple national mock trial distinctions, including being named a three-time Best Advocate in the Syracuse National Mock Trial League.

Following her graduation, Ananya dedicated her career to representing individuals facing unfair or traumatic circumstances with discipline and empathy. She initially sharpened her trial skills in the Criminal Division of the Delaware Department of Justice, as a Deputy Attorney General, where she first chaired numerous jury and bench trials and served as the lead Deputy Attorney General for the Mental Health Court Unit. Seeking a deeper understanding of complex legal disputes, she later clerked for the Honorable Judge Stella Tsai in the Philadelphia Orphans’ Court. In this role, she drafted opinions and advised on complex matters involving estates and guardianship, further deepening her legal expertise.

Building on her extensive courtroom experience, Ananya later served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. In this capacity, she led intensive victim and witness preparations while successfully litigating motions and chairing trials. Today, Ananya focuses her practice on achieving equitable results for her clients through rigorous preparation and persuasive advocacy. She remains steadfast in her commitment to guiding people through every phase of the litigation process, ensuring they are heard and supported as they fight for the justice they deserve.

In addition to her legal expertise, Ananya is a native speaker of Kannada and is proficient in both Spanish and Hindi, allowing her to connect with and advocate for a diverse range of clients.
