I would say Lawrence Sherman is the best attorney I have seen who is not afraid to stand up for you and tell it like it is. Very aggressive in all the correct ways verbally in your defense. He does not make promises or guarantees like others I have dealt with in the past. He simply tells you your odds and does the best job possible on defending and wins for you. Mr.Sherman was great and I was able to gain full custody of my son and his mother was to pay child support. He also worked to control his fees and was available when I had an emergency situation early on in this case and was quick to resolve it. I also will be calling him again soon to handle some more matters that have come up in this case.
Seeking disability benefits is of course something no one is prepared or really knowledgable of. After being initially denied, I contacted Mr. Sherman's office. A very simple and friendly phone interview led to a quick decision that he would accept my case. Mr Sherman's office was also very expedient in filing my reconsideration. Mr. Sherman continued to answer any questions I had with professionalism and empathy. End result was actually a quick approval of benefits.
He did not do all he could do in my case. I feel like I was cheated, he did not do any negotiating on my behalf basically gave in to the demands of my husband and his attorney without considering my needs.
