Do I have a personal injury lawsuit if I broke my tooth while eating?

Answered by attorney Kevin Marc Habberfield (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Black, Lyle & Habberfield, LLP
Go see a personal injury attorney. If you decide not too, which I advise against, make sure you extensively photograph everything and explicitly document what you send them. Send it to them certified mail return receipt requested and put a letter in there demanding that they preserve all of it for future litigation if necessary.

Is it worth my time to pursue legal action against my landlord?

James Peirce Kelaher

Personal Injury lawyer at Kelaher Law Offices, P.A.
I don't think it would be a good idea unless you're looking at substantial injuries to your kneed, otherwise if your landlord ejects you, it may cost you more to move than you'd get from your landlord for your injuries.

Can I sue the nighclub for assault by a bouncer?

Answered by attorney Stephen Arnold Black
Personal Injury lawyer at The Law Office of Stephen A. Black
OK so the first thing you need to do is retain a lawyer here in Florida to send out a preservation of evidence letter via certified mail. This will put the nightclub on notice that any video that they have in their possession needs to be preserved for possible litigation purposes. Secondly, you should file a police report immediately so that you can create a paper trail and have the police department interview witnesses and interview employees and yourself when all the evidence is fresh in the minds of all involved. Thirdly, you should get treatment so that you also create a paper trail of any injury that you have sustained. I have done many of these cases, and bar fights between patrons or between bouncers and patrons usually have a liability policy limit of $25,000-$50,000. So it's important to take all the steps necessary to document your case.
