What could be done if the insurance denies my injury since car only had a minor impact but want to total my car and pay only 50% of the salvage value?

Answered by attorney Frank Marvin Nunes (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Nunes Law, Inc.
You can either accept the bullying of the insurance companies, which they continue to do since they have so much money, or you can take the matter to small claims court. In small claims you can recover up to $7,500 for your personal injuries, including your past medical / chiropractic bills, lost wages if any, mileage to and from chiropractic appointments, any money for your future chiropractic care required by your injuries plus compensation for your pain, suffering and inconvenience caused by someone else's wrongdoing. You can also recover up to $10,000 for your property damage to your car.

What are contingent based attorney fees and costs for a medical malpractice case?

David F. Stoddard
Answered by attorney David F. Stoddard (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at The David F. Stoddard Law Firm
The contingency fee is usually at least 1/3 of any recovery and is often 40% because they are so risky for the attorney in terms of time and money. Costs usually exceed $20.000 and it is not unusual to exceed $50,000.00.

Personal injury

Answered by attorney John S. Wisniewski
Personal Injury lawyer at Wisniewski & Associates, LLC
Thank you for your question. Actions against towns are generally governed by Title 59 which provides a great measure of immunity from certain types of claims. The individual facts of your matter will determine whether or not you have a viable case. Please call the office to schedule an appointment and we would be happy to discuss your matter with you.
