Can I sue the doctor for malpractice for refusing to perform an x-ray?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney Michael Alexander Yurasov-Lichtenberg (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Havens Lichtenberg PLLC
If the first two doctors failed to diagnose your condition, that was a medical malpractice, and you can sue the doctors and the hospital. But you need to remember that, if the hospital belongs to the City of New York (or to any other municipality), you have to file a notice of claim within 90 days from the date of malpractice. It is possible to sue the doctors even if you cannot sue the hospital, but it is better to have the hospital in the case, so try not to miss the deadline.

How do I go about filing a lawsuit against a dentist office?

Paul L. Whitfield
Answered by attorney Paul L. Whitfield (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Paul Whitfield and Associates P.A.
Pardon but what difference does it make. Its is called no harm, no foul. Why don't you just ask the dentist rather than try to make something out of nothing.

What is my injury worth and can I take a lump sum?

Spencer Edward Farris
Answered by attorney Spencer Edward Farris (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at The S.E. Farris Law Firm
Impossible to answer your question. If it has been 6 years and you didn't file a lawsuit, your case is most likely barred by the statute of limitations. If you filed suit, you probably have an attorney and he/she should be answering this question.
