This sounds like a very good personal injury case.  You should retain counsel to contact the insurance carrier for the person who hit you and get the policy limits, the police report, and the evidence of your damages.   You should photograph damages to your vehicle and your person to preserve the evidence.

You are only responsible if your have been negligent in loaning out your car. If you were to lend it to someone whom you know is a bad driver of a speeder or other risky driving behaviors, or a drunk driver, then these sort of allegations would bring you into the filed of those that could be found responsible for the resulting injuries. You car insurance generally covers those to whom you lend your vehicle , even though you are not driving and are not "responsible". Such permissive drivers are likely given the same insurance protection you hace purchased for yourself in that vehicle.
