Do I have to pay the insurance company to get my license back?

Answered by attorney John F Brennan (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Musilli Brennan Associates, PLLC
That is the way it works, and until you pay back the insurance company or, if you're in Michigan, the fund, you will be unable to procure a drivers license.

What can I do if I was hit by another car when I didn't have insurance?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney Jacob Schwab Ginsberg (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Ginsberg & Associates
In Texas, the person that you hit can file a request with the Department of Transportation to suspend your license until the amount of the judgment is paid in full. You can still drive but you have to apply for an occupational license. You would have to make an application before a court to obtain an occupational license.

If involved in head on collision with a possible DWI driver that I sustained whiplash with no work time loss can I still be compensated?

Paul L. Whitfield
Answered by attorney Paul L. Whitfield (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Paul Whitfield and Associates P.A.
Don't know what a "possible" DWI driver is. If the driver was DWI the insurance company will pay you something for your injury, small amount most likely, because they don't want to go to trial with a driver DWI.
