Once you sign the release form, how soon can the family receive a check?

It's supposed to be 21 days from the point at which everything has settled. The court approved it, as you say, but then there is probably an order that needs to be signed and filed, with a copy served on the defendant, with a release as well and then sometimes they go past the 21 days even if they are not supposed to.

Is there anything I can do if a hospital doesn't do anything about my illness?

The doctors are certainly more knowledgeable than some attorney. So I would defer to them. You might do some Google research to ascertain all of the possibilities for the breast discharge. Then you might be able to ask some more intelligent questions of your physician. You might also call some other physicians to inquire of what you can do or what tests can be run to ensure you dont have breast cancer.

What happens if I was attacked by a road rage bully and put staples in my scalp?

Paul L. Whitfield
Answered by attorney Paul L. Whitfield (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Paul Whitfield and Associates P.A.
Not clear. He struck you with his car? hit you with a tire too. He obviously did not put staples in your head. The ER may have. you can charge him with any one of several kinds of assault depending on how he did it. you can sue him civilly if it is an auto case his insurance company will be responsible unless they see it as a deliberate act. A deliberate act is not negligence and is not covered.
