When will I receive my settlement money?

I don't know what closing on a home has to do with settling a personal injury action. This sounds like an unusual situation. BTW, you state that you settled the case on April 2, but you signed the release April 11. While April 2 may have been the date you agreed to settle, you did not actually settle the case until April 11.

Schedule an appointment to meet with them and find out what is happening. You have 2 years from date of accident to file suit, settle, or else lose the claim.

Who knows. This is a medical question not a legal one. A piece of metal is not a microorganism. Talk to a doctor and let him review the chart
