Can I sue if vitamins made me sick?

Only if you take the remaining vitamins to a laboratory and the lab reports the vitamins contain a chemical not on the label, and a doctor said that's what made you sick.

What do I need to do if I received a court summons with my name as the defendant but I had nothing to do with the accident?

Barry Mark Regar
Answered by attorney Barry Mark Regar (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Barry Regar A Professional Law Corporation
You should give the documents to your auto insurance company. If you were not insured you should consult an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney you can call the lawyer who represents the person who is the Plaintiff and simply ask why you have been named as a defendant in the lawsuit. I would not discuss the facts of the accident other than to get the reason you were named as a defendant.

Does an attorney fee of 25 percent come out of a settlement of $9500.00 before or after the doctor bills of $3981.00?

Answered by attorney Madanmohan Singh Ahluwalia
Personal Injury lawyer at Ahluwalia Law Professional Corporation
Your fee agreement with the attorney controls the distribution. Typical distribution is: Attorney gets percentage of total recovery amount minus case costs. And then from the balance, medical bills are paid.
