What can I do if I got served raw and bad food?

Mark Joseph Leonardo
Answered by attorney Mark Joseph Leonardo (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Dordick Law Corporation
Contact the restaurant and report it. Ask if anyone else has reported it. Did you eat it all or do you have a portion of it? You can also report it to the health department and they will investigate. If you are really sick, seek medical treatment. They may take tests to ascertain whether you have salmonella. If you can prove they caused your illness, you then have a claim against the restaurant.

Is there any recourse for pain and suffering due to allergic reactions from mediation?

Irving M. Blank

You have to prove what caused the reaction. This will probably require an expert (s) and that is going to be very expensive. You should check the internet and see if there is any indication that the medicine she is taking could cause this and also if there are any pending cases or class actions regarding any of her medications.

As the plaintiff's daughter, what can I do to speed this process up as it is taking a toll on my dad?

Court closures are only making this problem worse. The waits for all cases are lengthy. The defense attorney has no interest in speeding the case to trial because they are paid by the hour and don't want their client to have to part with their money any sooner than absolutely necessary. Have the depositions of the parties been taken yet? If after 3 years of litigation the depositions have not been completed, I'd say something is fishy. Otherwise, you are probably on the slow track to trial, like so many others. Just make sure that there is a trial date scheduled and tell your attorney you do not want the trial continued without your (father's?) express consent.
