Answered by attorney Orman Lanier Kimbrough (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Wooten, Kimbrough, Damaso Dennis, P.A.
You and your father should seek medical attention for your injuries first. If you have not done so yet, you should notify your insurance company and your father's company for the wreck. You should next contact a Personal Injury attorney who can review the particular facts of your case and other matters and give you specific advice.

How do I respond to a restaurant's insurance company?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney David Scott Carlile (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Carlile Craig, L.L.P.
If the cut was caused by the negligence of the restaurant then you have a claim. It is up to you whether the settle with the insurance company on your own or to hire a lawyer. If the cut was minor and you are not having any problems you would probably be okay handling yourself.

Does this qualify for a law suit?

Answered by attorney Stephen Arnold Black
Personal Injury lawyer at The Law Office of Stephen A. Black
you best take pictures of the place where u fell at the same time of day u fell from a variety of different angles. From the way you described it, they may have violatedcode sections as far as grade and handrails...Also, it would be important as to how exactly u fell. In order to establish liability, you have the burden of showing that the negligence caused your accident..and most importantly, do not talk to anyone except your lawyer
