Can I get justice after a female gave me a sexual transmitted disease and lied by saying she was pregnant?

Answered by attorney Andrew Tyler Velonis (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Andrew T. Velonis, P.C.
Justice is an abstract philisophical concept; you may have a cause of action, but there are difficulties involved. Let me explain: if she knew that she had an STD and lied to you, saying that she did not, then you have a liability claim against her, if you can prove it. If you did not ask, and she did not volunteer, then it could go either way. If she did not know, then there is no liability. Even if you prove liability, whether you can collect or not may be problematic. I don't think the lying about the pregnancy has anything to do with it.

If a private investigator is videotaping a subject through the window of a bar, can the bar owner sue them?

Personal Injury lawyer at Andrew T. Velonis, P.C.
Probably not. Likely, the investigator was on a public sidewalk and they can do what they want. The bar owner would have to prove damages. But, she could hire a lawyer to write a "cease and desist" letter.

Can I get my dental expenses covered after a personal injury?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney Kevin Marc Habberfield (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Black, Lyle & Habberfield, LLP
It's possible the restaurant may have medical payments coverage that would help. Talk to them. Doesn't sound like the restaurant did anything wrong so otherwise, you'll have to pay out of your own pocket or submit to your own insurance.
