Do I have a case if I broke my leg by trying out a used bicycle?

Paul L. Whitfield
Answered by attorney Paul L. Whitfield (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Paul Whitfield and Associates P.A.
I doubt it. Do you know how to ride a bike. A bike "jammed" what does that mean? If you contribute in any small way to your own injury you cannot recover in NC. How do you blame the store for your injury?

If you got into an accident and you would get a certain amount of money, is it possible after attorney’s fees to end up with more than half?

I am not sure if I understand your question correctly. But, if the attorney agreed to take only 20%, then that means you get 80%, which is more than half.

Three years in S.C. However, if you have already received a settlement on the car, you cannot seek additional damages for diminished value.
