While you may have a claim, if the only injury is a bump on the head it probably is not worth pursuing and undertaking the cost and risk associated with litigation. The other practical problem is in my experience where stores have video recorders they use the same tapes repeatedly and given that this particular tape would not aid the store, I would be very surprised if the tape depicting the "dangerous condition" which is what the clothing rack sticking out would be considered, still exists. Therefore, it then comes down to your word against theirs as to the condition and obviously a good thing that you were not seriously injured, but as result without more serious injury probably not worth pursuing. You run the risk of a jury finding no liability and then owing costs of the litigation to the store.
