Am I able, after the settlement, to submit the bills to health insurance to be paid?

Answered by attorney Wayne J Wimer (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Law Offices of Wayne J. Wimer, Inc. P.S.
To the extent that you have been paid for the $15,000 of medical bills and you have not paid the same, if you now submit the bills to your health insurer and they pay the bills, the health insurer has a right to subrogation for any medical bills it pays on your behalf, i.e. you will be responsible back to your health insurer if you have been "made whole" by the settlement with your auto insurer.

What is the legal remedy if someone says I am going to slap you?

I'm not sure what you mean by "remedy" or if there is one. I've known of at least one individual who was charged with Aggravated Harassment 2nd for making a statement that was considerably less threatening than the one you described. It could be considered domestic violence if the persons involved were living in the same household.

What are my rights on the workers’ compensation adjustment?

Answered by attorney Ronald Arthur Lowry (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Law Office of Ronald Arthur Lowry
This kind of "jerking around" happens all too often in workers' compensation cases. Hire an experienced WC lawyer ASAP. He'll know what to do to end the problems and get you all the benefits you should be getting.
