Can I reschedule an order to show cause?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney Brett Edward Rosenthal (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Graves Law Offices
You can contact the clerk of the court in which the matter is scheduled to be heard and request they change the date. The difficulty is that if the Order to show cause is requiring your appearance typically you didn't do something that the rules or the court required and that is the reason the court scheduled an Order to show cause to begin with and therefore the court may not be real receptive to moving the hearing date.

What can I do if my attorney violated the subjugation contract with my insurance company?

Answered by attorney Michael L. Aaronson
Personal Injury lawyer at Aaronson Law Firm
Attorneys have very sacred duties to their clients. In general, an attorney should do nothing but their client in jeopardy. Your attorney must keep your interests above all. I would consult with a knowledgeable attorney and get his feedback.

Can I have referral assistance on a situation?

Answered by attorney Stephen Arnold Black
Personal Injury lawyer at The Law Office of Stephen A. Black
If the boys parents were negligent in knowing that their son had the propensity to engage in these attacks and they didnt take measures to eliminate or mitigate this danger to others, then they may be civilly liable and their homeonwers insurance policy may provide a source of recovery.
