Would I been entitled to receive a settlement for damages?

Paul L. Whitfield
Answered by attorney Paul L. Whitfield (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Paul Whitfield and Associates P.A.
I don't know about "filing a case" I assume you mean a warrant is being issued. If it happened as you say they would be guilty of strong armed robbery and ought to be in prison you might sue them and the owner of the club. Problem is there is no insurance against this sort of thing and you might get a judgment you cant collect. See a good lawyer in your county.

What will happen if an unlicensed driver is caught driving my car alone and will the owner of the vehicle get in trouble and will the car be towed?

Michael G Heilmann

Personal Injury lawyer at Downriver Injury & Auto Law
It depends if the unlicensed driver does something. The owner should not let an unlicensed driver drive the car as they are strictly liable for the accidents the driver causes.

Who is liable for my injuries if I was assaulted in my apartment building?

Answered by attorney Earl K. Straight (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Law Offices of Earl K. Straight
You clearly have a claim against the four guys who assaulted you, and you may have a claim against the apartment complex for negligent security. The fact that the complex had security but wasnt properly deploying it at the time, security guard not present, camera turned off, should bolster your claim against the complex.
