It is more likely than not that you did have salmonella but in the absence of proof, you have a tough way to go. I would still advise the defendant of your claim. Not unless some doctor can state, "within a reasonable degree of medical probability" that the administration of the medication to you was the proximate cause of your baby being stillborn, and that the doctor who prescribed it to you had some reason to know it was potentially injurious to your baby's health.
