Can I sue my DOT doctor?

Answered by attorney Christopher Largey
Personal Injury lawyer at Largey Law
Dear Sir/Madam:   More information would be required to assess your situation.  Did you tell the doctor that you could not opick up the keg or you were not prepared to do so?  Are you required, as part of your job, to lift objects that weigh 160 lbs? Was this a physical that was part of your employment?  If you were in the course and scope of your business, you may be able to make a work comp claim.  Contact a worker's compensation lawyer and explain the facts to them. You may be able to make a worker's compensation claim which will pay your medical bills and loss of wages. It is a difficult case against the doctor, because he didn't "make" you lift the keg.  You could have informed him that you did not want to pick up the keg without notice, or that you just couldn't pick it up. Making a claim againsty the doctor will, in all likelihood, not be successful for you.

Can I sue my daughter's school if her teacher is harassing her?

Answered by attorney Andrew Tyler Velonis (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Andrew T. Velonis, P.C.
I don't think suing is the answer. Discuss this in person with the Principal and a member of the Board of Education. Tell them that if you are not satisfied, you will be going public with this. But, if you do, be careful that everything you say is factual and is backed up by evidence.

What can I do if my disabled son was sexually assaulted at school?

Personal Injury lawyer at The Law Office of Josh Lamborn, P.C.
The facts of your case are horrific and could bring a large jury award or settlement if the legal foundation is there. You should consult with an attorney in your area who specializes in this type of case and schedule a consultation.
