Why do some attorneys send their representatives to court instead of going themselves?

It really depends on the facts of your claim. You should try and talk to your attorney. If you are still not satisfied, you can always change attorneys. You might have a delay for the new attorney to prepare, however, depending on when your hearing is scheduled.

Do I need to file a new claim from a work related injury?

The medical was approved for 10 years out of the July injury. Now you are seeking treatment from the October injury. New injury, new claim. So, yes, you do need to file a new claim. There are other reasons as well. So do it. What's the big deal?

Can his parents be held liable if my grandson had a work related accident which caused injury to customer?

David B. Rechtman
Answered by attorney David B. Rechtman (Unclaimed Profile)

In most cases, liability for that accident would be against the employer. Two questions I would ask, did the parents have any connection to the Incident? And can it be argued that the accident might have been intentional? Also, please note that at age 18, one is considered an adult in Georgia.
