If you have automobile insurance, you should check with your own insurance company to see if the accident may be covered by any MedPay (medical payments) and/or UM (uninsured/underinsured motorist) coverage.

A contractor damaged my neighbor's property, what do I do?

Answered by attorney David Scott Carlile (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Carlile Craig, L.L.P.
You shouldn't be liable. The contractor is liable. If the contractor does not have insurance you may get sued but you would only be liable if you controlled the manner of the work.

Hi there,  I would need more information about the incident in order to answer your question properly. However, it is likely that you will need a lawyer.  1. How bad are the injuries? 2. When did the accident happen? 3. Where did it happen? 4. How did it happen? You are welcome to respond back with more details so I can better assist you or call our office at any time to speak with one of our attorneys directly. Thank you!   Ethan Shaw
