What can I do if I am being sued for car damages?

Since the law suit has been filled, you could review the petition to see if you contest with any of it's content, you might need to consider the damages demanded and the cost of retaining an attorney to help you. Either way it goes, cases like these can easily be resolved by mediation or negotiation between the parties on amount to pay and how to pay it.

What can I do if I was injured and want to get a settlement?

Paul L. Whitfield

If you were hurt in the course and scope of your employment you have a worker comp case, and you can recover from the comp carrier of your employer. I assume the driver was a fellow employee. You can sue the driver in a civil suit if he has assets or coverage. But you cant sue the boss except in a comp claim situation.
