Do we have a case?

Robert Leroy Woods
Answered by attorney Robert Leroy Woods (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Woods Law Firm, P.C.
probably not, you must have damages to have a claim.. it doesn't appear that even if you could prove a negligent act by place you purchased the food, there was no evidence that any injury occurred..

I was injured on the job at UPS

Robert C. Slim
Answered by attorney Robert C. Slim (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Robert C. Slim Law Firm, PLLC
It sounds like you have a case worth, at least, a consultation with an attorney.   My consultations are absolutely free.  My first question would be whether UPS is a workers compensation "subscriber" or are they a "non-subscriber."  (Something tells me that they are a non-subscriber).

Can I sue the babysitter for negligence?

Mark Joseph Leonardo
Answered by attorney Mark Joseph Leonardo (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Dordick Law Corporation
What did she do to cause the broken leg? If she was negligent in causing the injury, then yes; or if she knew he was engaging in a dangerous activity (e.g, jumping off the roof), and let it go on, then perhaps. But if your son was doing goofy stuff on his own, then you really have no claim against your sister. Since it happened at her house, her homeowners insurance should pay under the med-pay provision (usually around $5000) regardless of fault.
