The Michigan statute of limitations for filing a personal injury case is 3 years from the date of the crash. So if someone in the other vehicle was injured, they have the 3 year limit within which to file suit.

How do I get my treatment paid for if the injury happened at work?

File a Worker's Comp claim. Your employer is required to post information as to who the comp carrier is, you fill out the claim form and they pay your medical bills. As for the work environment cleaning up, that may take care of itself as your employer does not want you nor other employees to lose time from work, or pay higher premiums due to comp claims, the comp carrier might put some heat on the employer to clean up its act, or you could ask the local or state dept of health or OSHA to do an investigation.

You may be able to find an attorney who is willing to work strictly on a contingency basis. Typically, if the client loses, the attorney will write off any and all costs incurred. However, some cases are a bit riskier and the attorney may ask for the type of agreement for which you speak.
