Hi there,  I would need more information about the incident in order to answer your question properly. However, it is likely that you will need a lawyer.  1. How bad are the injuries? 2. When did the accident happen? 3. Where did it happen? 4. How did it happen? You are welcome to respond back with more details so I can better assist you or call our office at any time to speak with one of our attorneys directly. Thank you!   Ethan Shaw

Can I reschedule an order to show cause?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney Brett Edward Rosenthal (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Graves Law Offices
You can contact the clerk of the court in which the matter is scheduled to be heard and request they change the date. The difficulty is that if the Order to show cause is requiring your appearance typically you didn't do something that the rules or the court required and that is the reason the court scheduled an Order to show cause to begin with and therefore the court may not be real receptive to moving the hearing date.
