Personal Injury lawyer at Chronister Law Firm, LLC
The driver of the vehicle that hit your son could be at fault. You should seek an experienced personal injury attorney that also handles wrongful death cases.

What compensation will I get from my insurance company if I got into a car accident and the other driver does not have an insurance?

Answered by attorney J. Todd Tenge
Personal Injury lawyer at Tenge Law Firm, LLC
What you will need to do is to make a claim against your own insurance policy under a coverage called "uninsured motorist". Hopefully, you have that coverage. If you don't, or if your UM coverage is less than the coverage you have under "bodily injury liability" (which is the coverage you have if you cause an accident and injuries) then there are some things we can do under Colorado Law to potentially get you the UM (if you don't have it) and/or get it increased to match your bodily injury limits (if you have UM, but the limits are lower than your BI limits. Ultimately, it would be best for you to retain a qualified injury lawyer who knows his/her way around UM insurance laws and claims.

What will happen if they have insurance but both occupants have suspended license?

David B. Rechtman

Personal Injury lawyer at Rechtman & Spevak
Insurer should be made to provide coverage in that situation. You may need a lawyer to enforce it, though.
