What can I do if State farm is refusing to pay my claim?

Answered by attorney Burton A. Padove
Personal Injury lawyer at Padove Law
Clearly, to coin a phrase, they are not treating you like a good neighbor. My suggestion is that you hire counsel to pursue this matter as State Farm is at a great advantage-they litigate claims on a 365 day a year basis, some years 366 days. You need to level the playing field.

You have a he said/she said case/ if your insurance company could deal with it better, they would. Fat chance on getting the government to to anything or the US postal Service. Leave it to the insurance co and go on with your life.

If you can prove damage you may have a good claim. That is your problem right now. catching someone in a mistake is one thing. The mistake making a difference is another ballgame. See a good lawyer if any significant damage can be proved.
