Just settled my case and very pleased. Handled everything professionally and was always available when I had a question. If she was out of the office, her paralegal always knew exactly what was going on with my case and was available to help me. Would recommend to anyone.

Sorry others had a bad experience. She handled my Workers Compensation case perfectly. Done in less than 2 years and got me an exceptional result. Always answered my emails and always willing to talk on the phone, even on weekends.

I completely agree with the reviewers. Heather Calvert handled my case very poorly. She demonstrated a lack of communication, empathy, trust, and reliability. Throughout the process, Heather spent more time not communicating with me than working on settling my case. It took over two years to sign and review the same documents, only to end up losing my case. You're better off representing yourself or hiring a different attorney.

I hired Heather Calvert in June 2025 and I talked with a paralegal and was told they would take the case. Since there have been two new paralegals handling the case. I never got to speak to Heather during entire experience except for 20 minute briefing before hearing. She barely said anything during hearing and didn't do a closing argument. I've tried reaching her since hearing 12 times and have yet to get a return call. She's charging me $9,250 and yet I've had one call with her for 20 minutes and she showed up on my hearing call. This is taking advantage of a disabled person. Getting over $9,000 to not have any contact with someone who hired you. It's ridiculous. I have since been told today that she's been getting my messages yet chooses to not return my call. So getting paid $9,250 for an hour and 20 minutes of your time. I would not recommend hiring her for disability hearing. To charge a disabled person tht much and not even have the decency to return any calls.

Making this review here due to the audacity of Heather Calvert 's continue lack of response and job task completion. Takes weeks for Calvert to return a message if she returns your messages. Doesn't do what she says she is going to do with your case, for you in the case. ALLOWS TOO MUCH TIME TO PASS WHICH WILL COST YOU THE OUTCOME THAT SHE PROMISED YOU IN RELATION TO YOUR CASE. SHE PREYS ON WOMEN WHO CAN'T AFFORD A BETTER QUALIFYING LAWYER. Don't hire this person. She should be investigated for fraud in my opinion. I know 3 personal cases she has handled and all 3 were left desperately in situations that could be considered Calvert actually helping the other person in the divorce and not the client thar hired her. These 3 spouses I have spoken to, all had the same story about this poor excuse of a lawyer. If you have her currently, fire her now. Hire a new lawyer ASAP.

Heather Calvert of Stephen Fiddes McGill and Associates is the worst person I’ve ever worked with. She hardly ever followed through on her word, she was regularly late responding. I had to call the office, her number and her paralegal Jesse, several times before I’d ever get an answer. I wouldn’t put my worse enemy through what I dealt with. She misquoted me, or maybe was just really bad at explaining things. In the most turbulent time of my life, I felt like she she had a rude attitude when we talked on the phone. No one work with their firm!!
