Julie Galassi sent me a huge bill just for a brief phone call and one-line e-mail before I had even retained her as an attorney. I was never informed of her fees beforehand. Furthermore, the time she claims she spent was greatly overstated. I would describe her as an unethical and mean-spirited person, and because I have been unable to pay her excessive bill, she has puposefully sabotaged my getting representation by refusing to speak briefly to an attorney who was interested in representing me.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
