Charles's real estate transaction practice involves the representation of institutional lenders, entities and individuals with a focus on commercial real estate including:
Representation of institutional lenders in commercial loan defaults, workouts, and reorganizations. He has been involved in numerous transactions in Florida and Alabama representing institutional lenders in the restructuring, purchase, and sale of secured and unsecured loans. He has handled numerous matters involving the return and liquidation of problem assets through settlement and negotiation.
Represent and assist borrowers and developers of commercial real estate from acquisition, construction, development and through leasing; shopping center, and large commercial projects; drafting and negotiation of numerous leases from small businesses to big box retail.
His corporate law practice involves the representation of individuals and entities in the formation and ongoing operation of small businesses, including sales, acquisitions, business planning and execution.
