Belinda is a founding member of the law firm of DeMaria, de Kozan & White, PLLC. A civil litigation attorney and mediator with more than 30 years of experience, Belinda is rated AV® Preeminent ™ by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest obtainable rating based upon surveys of her peers and members of the judiciary. She is licensed to practice law before all Florida Courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. After more than 30 years of experience handling a multitude of cases involving probate and trust litigation, personal injury/wrongful death (plaintiff and defense), insurance disputes, business/employment disputes, and real estate litigation, Belinda now focuses her practice on mediation of civil disputes. Belinda is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Circuit Civil Mediator and routinely mediates cases involving a broad range of civil disputes, many of which involve multi-party litigation of complex issues. Belinda has served as mediator in hundreds of cases across the panhandle of Florida and has attended hundreds more as an attorney representing party litigants in civil disputes. A “Double Gator”, Belinda earned her undergraduate degree in Advertising with a Business Minor from the University of Florida in 1983 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Frederic G. Levin College of Law in 1987. Belinda is a member of The Florida Bar, Escambia-Santa Rosa County Bar Association, and Impact 100. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church.
