Matthew Montana is an experienced criminal attorney, and represents those that have been accused of committing a violation, misdemeanor, or felony. Matthew Montana focuses his civil practice on condominium/co-op law, real estate (residential and commercial) transactions, landlord/tenant matters, as well as with wills and estates. Prior to joining Levine & Montana, Matthew Montana served as an Assistant District Attorney for six and a half years in the nation’s premier prosecutor’s office, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. Hired by the legendary District Attorney Robert M. Morgenthau, Mr. Montana served in the Office’s Trial Division, and handled over one thousand criminal cases from inception through disposition. Mr. Montana tried over twenty cases involving crimes such as DWI, assault, robbery, sexual abuse/forcible touching, narcotic sale, identity theft, and trademark counterfeiting.
