Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer. If you want the best, you hire Marty, end of story. Our case lasted almost 7 years (on and off) and I can tell you that there is no better attorney than MJ. He is incredibly well respected both in and out of the courtroom. We literally never lost any of the many cases we had with my wife's crazy ex-husband. Marty is not cheap and he's not going to hold your hand but he wins and that is the most important thing, especially when children are in play. We owe him a great deal of gratitude!
Martin is intelligent, meticulous and right to the point.
Mr. Johnson recently completed my divorce. I started working with him in September 2015 in order to complete a separation agreement. He and his staff provided excellent, professional services and support from day one. Mr. Johnson's expertise and attention to detail allowed me to sleep at night and know that I was in good hands throughout the entire process. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.
Simply said, Martin Johnson is the best matrimonial attorney in Rockland County. {para}When I needed a matrimonial lawyer, I spoke to 15 attorneys and asked each of them to list the top three matrimonial attorneys in the county. All 15 attorneys listed Martin Johnson in their top three; most of whom listed him as their top choice.{para}Martin represented me for more than two years. Martin is a scholar of matrimonial law. He is the lawyer that other lawyers turn to when they have a question about matrimonial law. He has an incredible eye for detail. He remembers everything anybody says to him and is incredibly eloquent in a court room.{para}Martin is also an expert statistician. He routinely suggested alternative strategies, ask for my participation, communicated honestly the risks and benefits of our alternative approaches.{para}With each phase of our defense, he asked good questions, He always left me confident that I had selected the right attorney.{para}Over the past two years, for better or worse, I have had the opportunity to get to know Martin well. When you are in trouble, Martin Johnson is the kind of attorney and advocate that you want in your corner.{para}Through my experience, I have learned that your likelihood of a positive outcome is not only based on the quality of your case and your willingness to participate in the process, but it is, at least, of equal importance to have the best attorney possible.{para}Without hesitation, I can assure you that Martin Johnson is the finest choice for matrimonial law....hands down.
Working with Marty was a night mare, this guy wasted my money and took way to much time to respond to Judges question. He didnt understand the financial behind our divorce which left him in a bad situation as we lost in court. What he told me and what happened were @ very different things... real crook. His team doesnt want to work with him and they left in the middle of my case..... waste of time. Look else where
Martin T Johnson esq. dragged on my case till my estate was gone. I had to hire a new lawyer and the new guy finished the simple case in 4-5 weeks. Johnson is slow, weak in front of the judge, not aggressive with other lawyers, plays the game and bills through the roof. I lost all my home equity to him and he does the salami method. Johnson will make your case go on as long as there is money for him to steal. Run run run from this bad and crooked lawyer.
Martin Johnson handled my divorce. Communicating with Martin Johnson was very difficult.
Recently I asked Martin Johnson to do a prenuptial agreement for me. I met with him, and he told me he would work on the agreement for me.
Six weeks later nothing was done, and he would not return my emails and telephone calls. Only when I had a prominent lawyer call him on my behalf did he respond to me. He told me he was not interested in doing the agreement. He said my terms and conditions were one sided
