Charitable activities and hobbies
Children are often considered unimportant and lost in the system. They do not have the power to vote they do not have the money to hire lobbyists and others to promote their interests, and sadly they are often the victims of abuse. The Ray Pacia Kids Foundation was formed to help children by providing direct assistance to multiple charities that promote the health, safety and welfare of our children.
The Ray Pacia Kids Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax exempt 501(c)(3) business charitable entity. The Ray Pacia Kids Foundation is a non-profit Rhode Island corporation whose sole purpose is to provide financial assistance to charities that promote the health, safety and welfare of our children. Attorney Raymond A. Pacia donates a percentage of all his legal fees to the Ray Pacia Kids Foundation to provide financial assistance to the foundation charities. The officers and directors of the Ray Pacia Kids Foundation receive no salary and all of the money is used for charitable purposes. The Ray Pacia Kids Foundation was created to celebrate Attorney Raymond A. Pacia's thirty years in the practice of law, during which time he has had no disciplinary complaints, no ethics complaints and no malpractice complaints. The formation of the Ray Pacia Kids Foundation reflects Attorney Ray Pacia's acute appreciation for the faith, confidence and trust his clients have placed in him during the past thirty years, and Ray Pacia's desire to use the fruits of his labor to help our children.
Attorney Ray Pacia is active in many community organizations. He sponsors many youth athletic teams for boys and girls, including baseball, softball, soccer, hockey, and bocce. Ray is the founder and benefactor of the Rhode Island Motorcycle Association scholarship fund.
In his spare time, Ray enjoys playing piano. He has a CD and has performed live with his ensemble at international jazz festivals. Occasionally, Ray plays piano at senior citizen living centers, where the residents enjoy his arrangements of popular standards. Ray is fluent in Italian and is a member of the Rhode Island Teachers of Italian Advisory Board. He has lived and studied abroad. He enjoys traveling, skiing, hiking, and spending time with his family.
