About Mara L. Dooskin

I am currently a partner at Weinberger Divorce and Family Law Group, LLC I received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Ithaca College in 1991 and a Juris Doctorate from New England Law in 1994.  I am also licensed in New York and a member of the New Jersey Bar Association. I worked for the New York City Administration for Children’s Services protecting the right of the City’s most vulnerable children.  I also volunteer with the Volunteer Lawyers for Justice helping people navigate the legal system.

I couldn’t imagine going through this experience with anyone other than Mara. She made me feel comfortable and empowered from the moment I met her. Mara is fierce, intelligent, and not afraid of a challenge. I highly recommend her services and know that any client of hers is in THE BEST hands.

Mara Dooskin went above and beyond for me. She gave me legal AND loving advice... since DAY 1 at the FREE CONSULTATION. She always followed up. On top of that she's FIERCE. The opposing parties lawyer was trying his best to intimidate, threaten, and talk down to her. She wasn't buying it. She remained calm and calculated. She knew when to make her moves. Had an amazing turn out with my case! Mara you're seriously the best! If I ever need a lawyer, I know who to call. THANK YOU!!!!

Mara Dooskin is an excellent lawyer. She is intelligent, attentive and compassionate. Mara is a good listener. She understands the difficult time the client is going through, and tries to help in any way possible. For me, my case went from DV, to divorce then elimination of both. I felt Mara was supportive and well informed through each part of the process. She would present all my options, the pluses and minuses and respect any decision I made.I always felt well she had my best interest in mind
