About Jessica Lynn Budrock

Jessica L. Budrock, Esq. is a divorce and family law attorney at Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group, LLC. Ms. Budrock exclusively focuses her practice on representing clients in all aspects and stages of their family law matters, including issues relating to divorce, equitable distribution, custody, child support, alimony, domestic violence, college contribution matters, emancipation, relocation, premarital agreements, and post-judgment modifications and enforcement.

Jessica Budrock is passionate about assisting her clients with great skill and legal care during what are often contentious and emotionally challenging times in their lives. She is drawn to family and matrimonial law because each case allows her to take a highly individualized approach and “wear different hats” to achieve successful results for her clients: sometimes clients need a zealous advocate, a confidant, a friend, or a mediator. Ms. Budrock’s goal is to always to respond to her client’s needs while providing a clear legal strategy that achieves their goals.

Highly skilled in both mediation and litigation, Ms. Budrock will seek low conflict resolutions in her clients matters whenever possible. She is also prepared to relentlessly advocate for her clients’ rights should it be necessary to go to court. As an experienced matrimonial litigator, Ms. Budrock is able to seamlessly guide her clients through case management conferences, settlement conferences, motion hearings, trials and any emergent applications and plenary hearings that may arise. Ms. Budrock works tirelessly to ensure that her clients are educated and informed about their rights and options as well as providing them with the best courses of action throughout the entire legal process.

Jessica Budrock received her Juris Doctorate from New England Law │Boston. Throughout law school, Ms. Budrock worked in the family law field as a law clerk with a prominent Boston law firm, where she represented clients regarding custody, parenting time, and child support matters in Massachusetts Probate and Family Court. From this experience, she gained a keen awareness of the sensitive nature of family law matters involving children and the importance of prioritizing the well-being and best interests of her client’s children.

Ms. Budrock also served as a family law and guardianship intern for the Volunteer Lawyers Project of the Boston Bar Association. She was certified under the student practice rule, Supreme Judicial Court Rule 3:03, and gained valuable experience by representing clients in divorce, custody, and guardianship cases. Ms. Budrock’s knowledge of guardianship matters, and how they can become intertwined with divorce actions, enables her to provide the best approach to navigate these issues. Traditionally awarded only to members of the Massachusetts Bar, as a law student, Ms. Budrock received the Meg Connolly MVP Award for her extraordinary pro bono contributions as a family law and guardianship intern.

Before returning to New Jersey to practice family law, Ms. Budrock worked as an associate attorney at a multi-state foreclosure litigation firm working at the firm’s headquarters in New York. Ms. Budrock gained valuable experiences regarding residential foreclosure actions, delinquent property tax ramifications, clouds on title, and encumbrances on subject properties. Ms. Budrock utilizes the information learned regarding property issues to assist her family law clients with resolving mortgage liability disputes and negotiating settlements which include provisions for refinancing mortgages and preparing property transfer documentation.

Jessica Budrock is admitted to the New Jersey Bar, the New Jersey District Court Bar, and the New York Bar. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Atlantic County Bar Association, and serves as an executive board member in the Young Lawyers Division of the Atlantic County Bar Association.
