I reached out to Jay to assist with a legal matter related to my business. Jay seemed very much an ethical person with the goal of helping and being compassionate. But man that facade was short lived. Jay advised me that (in spite of the evidence he noted pointing to me being taken advantage of and my partner doing objectively illegal actions) it would not be financially wise to pursue and said I should just start a new company. How out of touch with the current state of our economy can one person be? I guess this much when you're this privileged. Regardless, I heeded his respected counsel because why not who else would I listen to but a professional? Fast forward a year later he's threatening me with collections and claiming I approved additional work on the case. When I asked him politely to provide proof of this request to continue the work he failed to do so entirely and then began to call me all sorts of nasty names while accusing me of being, in his words, "a dishonest person".
