When I got divorced (2+ years ago), I was pressured to agree to the parenting schedule that my ex-wife proposed in order to settle and avoid court. This arrangement was fragmented and left my ex-wife with more time. Before approaching Weinberger, I had spoken with 3 or 4 other lawyers. All of them told me that it's impossible to change the schedule so soon after getting divorced. When I spoke with Jennifer Varga at Weinberger, she worked with me to come up with a strategy to approach the situation. We eventually filed a motion and made the impossible possible. In court, she kept her cool while the adversary did not. Jennifer stuck to the facts and the judged granted us to undergo an evaluation by a Child and Adolescent Psychologist. We eventually got an equal parenting time schedule and were able to settle with a consent order that also put many other tools & arrangements into place to help facilitate several post-divorce issues that came up.
