I found out too late that Traci has a reputation among Douglas County attorneys as having an 'alarming tolerance for child abuse' and domestic violence. She is also known to always be late on her reports, she always asks for additional time, and she claims that she is bound by the philosophy in Colorado that the best interest of all children is 50/50 custody, regardless of abuse or neglect. Her delays contributed to my case exceeding 500 days in court. And even with pictures of bruising from abuse and witness statements, and a mandatory report to CPS by a licensed therapist, and the father unilaterally canceling our ADHD child's therapy during her active investigation, she still recommended 50/50.
Traci Fruhwirth's poor CFI skills initiated ongoing court battles for 6 years. I had to sell everything I own, including my car, move in with my mother, and accrue massive debt. With NO MEDICAL background, she insisted that my son and ex-husband were "fine." She did not appear in person in court; nor visit and see my son at school. My son has Autism and ADHD, and my ex-husband, jailed for domestic violence, is seriously mentally ill. I would NOT recommend her EVER.
