August is a real knight in shining armor. I had a psychopath neighbor who tried to sue me. August was well-prepared and made sure that my neighbor couldn't use his usual tricks (ie lie without swearing to it). He kept the costs reasonable and my "neighbor" was forced to quit his lawsuit.
I hired Mr Staas to handle my divorce. He did an excellent job navigating through the pandemic and a very uncooperative spouse. No details but by advising me to be patient I got everything I asked for, and the judge commended him at the end for his work on a difficult, sad situation.
August helped me through every step of my difficult divorce over the course of more than a year, always prompt and thorough in his response. He was realistic and compassionate, careful to explain his thoughts and always open to my feedback. He clearly cares about not only everyone in my family but also my friends who were called in for depositions from the other side. It was heartening to have someone so diligent, smart, and effective on our side. I highly recommend him!
Working with this lawyer was big headache he isn’t responsive and completely irresponsible so my experience with him was extremely irritating... he isn’t worth any of your money in fact he is also very greedy. He wasn’t on time once to the court meetings let alone being prepared information wise for the judge.. I also think he has drinking problem from one of the court meetings he attended..
I have hired him for my divorce case and he took my money and always showed up 1 hour late in court and never was prepared and he didn’t get me one thing I want out of my divorce absolutely nothing.. in the end even judge was agitated by his unpreparedness. He was also hired by another person that I knew of and same results. He is not worth your money or time because he doesn’t make any time for you and keeps asking for more and more money that’s all but he never prepares or asks in regards to what you want .. child support? You don’t get it ? He says, I didn’t know you were asking for child support.. after 1 year really? did you? Well, I never knew ... same results by 3 other people I know of and who knows how many more people out there that I don’t know of and have no time to write up this review.. he is a horrible horrible lawyer...
He is lazy and unresponsive and doesn't care...
