My Ex-husband was suing me for custody of my two children. After reading his complaint she agreed to take my case and I was so happy she did! While I didn't understand most of the legal jargon, anytime I felt confused or overwhelmed all I had to do was call or email. Towards the middle of my case I told her that it was more important to me to fight for what my teenagers wanted versus what I wanted and she did just that!! She went to bat for my daughter and I'm grateful for her!!
Brandi started out friendly and helpful. The communication was poor at best after paying the retainer. She just assumes everyone understands her jargon and got snippy when asked questions. Her office staff comes across friendly but fails to send information sometimes. I received a call once telling me that my court appearance that morning had to be rescheduled, but I was never notified originally of any court appearance having been scheduled. She will not return phone calls or email.
Ms. Fowler was extremely difficult to get information from and she routinely did not bother to explain any of the process. For example I wanted to add interest to my ex husbands child support arrears, she was informed I did not wish to review or revise the existing support but she filed for it anyway and only afterwards explained that would be the only way to add interest charges to the arrears balances.
