About Mr. Adam Bugg

Adam Bugg is a native Floridian and lifelong resident of the Tampa Bay area. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. After graduation, Mr. Bugg returned to his hometown where he attended the police academy at St. Petersburg College and began his career of serving his community as a police officer for the City of Largo. After five years of service in law enforcement, Adam followed in his own father's footsteps by pursuing and earning his Juris Doctor at Stetson University College of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Concentration in Advocacy and was the recipient of the Paul Barnard Award for Clinic Excellence. Following law school, Mr. Bugg was hired by the 6th Circuit State Attorney’s Office, where he worked as a prosecutor for 3 years, prosecuting hundreds of cases and litigating dozens of jury trials ranging from misdemeanors and DUIs to first degree felonies.

In addition to his time at the 6th Circuit State Attorney's Office, Mr. Bugg practiced at a large civil firm as well as a smaller firm handling personal injury matters before accepting a position with the 13th Circuit State Attorney’s Office in Tampa, Florida. For over six years, Mr. Bugg prosecuted thousands more cases and gained extensive additional courtroom and trial experience. Mr. Bugg was selected to serve in the Special Victim’s Unit, assuming responsibility for protecting the most vulnerable members of the community. Ultimately, Mr. Bugg decided to utilize his extensive litigation experience and expertise to represent individuals in his community who have been injured and deserve compensation.

Community involvement matters to Mr. Bugg, both professionally and personally. Adam and his wife, an elementary school teacher, are ardent fans and have been actively involved as coaches and board members for the many sports in which their two children compete, including football, baseball, and cheerleading. For most games and competitions, Adam can likely be found on the sidelines, using his photography skills to capture memorable images of his family's athletic events.
