Scott D. Devore is the managing shareholder of Scott D. Devore, P.A., in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and a Board Certified specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law. A 1992 graduate of the University of Maryland and a 1996 graduate of The Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Scott represents foreign nationals before the Department of Homeland Security (USCIS, ICE, CBP) and the Department of Justice (EOIR) on a national basis, giving him eligibility to practice immigration law in all 50 states. He provides personal representation in removal and deportation defense, family- and employment-based permanent residence, work authorization, waivers and citizenship matters. One of only fifty-five Florida attorneys Board Certified in this field, Scott is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and was selected as a Florida Super Lawyer from 2007 through 2010. He is an active member of AILA, served twice as President of the South Florida Chapter, and currently chairs the AILA/USCIS West Palm Beach Liaison and DMV Committees. Recognized by Florida courts as an expert on immigration consequences of criminal convictions, Scott has lectured locally and nationally and has twice received the Immigration Award from the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County for exceptional pro bono service.
