About Ronald Charles Rundberg

In 1980, Ron Rundberg graduated from Mid-America Nazarene College with a B.A., cum laude, in Business Administration. Before attending law school, he was the co-founder of an adoption agency and the general manager of a family-owned manufacturing company. He obtained his law degree from the University of Kansas School Of Law in 1991. From 1991 through 1997, he was an associate attorney with the firm of Ferree, Bunn, Rundberg & Ridgway, and he was a shareholder there from 1998 to 2018. He is the founder of Rundberg Law, LLC, focusing solely on family law.

Since 2014, judges and other attorneys have designated Mr. Rundberg to be AV Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell®. This means that he has been recognized for having the “highest level of professional excellence” for both legal ability and ethical standards. Since 2016, he has also been selected to Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers. Only 5% of attorneys in Missouri and Kansas receive this distinction.

Mr. Rundberg has personal experience in dealing with the impact of divorce. He understands what his clients are going through during their divorce. He and his wife have been married for over 27 years and have a blended family of five adult children. He and his wife are facilitators of a Divorce Care class, and he also is a Sunday school class director.

Mr. Rundberg is a member of the Kansas Bar Association, Missouri Bar Association, and Johnson County Bar Association. He is licensed to practice law in the states of Kansas and Missouri. Mr. Rundberg has been a speaker on topics related to divorce, the impact of divorce on business, adoption, and estate planning.

I worked with Ron to finalize my divorce. He was very knowledgeable, patient, brought calm and reason to what can be a very stressful and emotional process and got me to my intended goal, which was to be divorced. He was fair in cost and mindful of my time and his. I have already referred him to others looking for divorce attorney's. Thank you Ron!

Ron is your typical money hungry lawyer. He will charge you for the air you breathe. Ron represented me a short time ago. He overcharged me then and I was foolish enough to engage him a second time. He required a retainer before he ever listens to the case and after only 4 mins phone call, I determined it wasn’t reasonable to move forward. Rather than doing the right thing and fully refunding my retainer he decided to charge be over $200 for the 4 min phone call. I previously had submitted a nice Google review for which I have now changed. No lawyer is so good that can’t have some ethics. His $200 charge has motivated me to now share with the world of his actions. Find someone who actually cares about outcomes vs just taking your money. Buyer beware of this shady lawyer!
