I am shocked and disgusted by the behavior of Jerold Bressel and his staff. For the past 2 years, Jerry and his staff have represented and taken advantage of an elderly client who has been diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimers. The client came to Jerry seeking a simple and efficient divorce. Her diagnosis was presented to him and his staff in the form of medical reports and diagnostic testing done by some of the best medical professionals and hospitals in the country. These reports and tests results were provided to Jerry in order to apprise him of the fact that his client was impaired and that an independent person should be consulted on all important legal decisions — decisions that his client lacked the capacity to understand and navigate on her own. Jerry ignored the medical reports and refused to agree to have the client's cognitive abilities tested independently. Instead of providing the client with a simple and efficient divorce, he then expanded and delayed the divorce case
